Yamini Yasoda Kurati, Ph.D

Yamini Yasoda Kurati is an experienced and knowledgeable classical dancer of Kuchipudi.

She learned Kuchipudi dance in Kuchipudi from 1994 -2005 under Dr. Chinta Ramanadham garu, Vedantam Rattaiah Sarma garu, Padmasree Vedantam Satyanarayana Sarma garu, Pasumarthy Rattaiah Sarma garu.

She recieved two gold medals in M.A. Kuchipudi. Recently she earned Ph.D. from University of Hyderabad. The area of research is Kuchipudi Dance Dramas – Structure, Changes and Emerging Trends. She performs and teaches Kalapas, Yakshaganas, Nritya Rupakas and Solo dances of Kuchipudi style.
