Sameer Marella

Sameer is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Graduate School of Business, Stanford University. He is responsible for Digital Solutions for the school covering all aspects from strategy, implementation and operations. As a 15year veteran of Stanford University, Sameer brings a strong collaborative style, focus on mutual success and efficiencies to all opportunities at hand.

Previously, as a Sr. Director of Student, HR and Middleware Applications, Sameer was responsible for successful delivery of several marquee initiatives and innovations. Sameer also served as a member of Technical Advisory Group at HEUG and numerous Customer Advisory Boards of key strategic vendors to Stanford. Sameer has a Bachelor of Science in Computers from Andhra University and MBA from Osmania University, India. He has successfully completed Advanced Project Management, Diverse by Design and Stanford Strategic Leaders Development Programs from Stanford University.
