Parameswari Krishnamurthy is an affiliated faculty member with the School of Computing who teaches computational linguistics courses. She is an Assistant Professor at Language Technologies Research Centre, International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad. She holds a Ph.D. in Computational Linguistics from the University of Hyderabad; her doctoral thesis focused on developing Telugu-Tamil Machine Translation with particular reference to divergence. Dr. Krishnamurthy has been actively contributing to the field, specializing in Natural Language Processing and Machine Translation, Morphological Analysis & Generation, Parsing, Linguistics, Divergence, and Contrastive Grammar and Corpus Linguistics.
