Mick Gallagher
Mick Gallagher is the Global CEO of San Francisco start-up Ayurway Life Science. Mick and the team are focused on growing the company in four main business vectors.
1. Driving a Herbal Revolution in Life Sciences by bringing high efficacy, science backed natural remedies for multiple conditions to the US and European markets
2. Creating new sub-specialty clinical offerings and expanding our current clinic and pharmacies scale and capabilities in traditional medicine in India and in the US.
3. Developing, delivering and supporting essential practice software and services to Allopathic and Ayurvedic health care providers
4. Expanding our established Wellness Management and Population Health platform (Ahyush) in the US, Middle East and India
Prior to joining Ayurway Life Science, Mick has held a number of executive management positions in Healthcare over the past twenty years. His most recent position, prior to joining, was as SVP Retail National Accounts at McKesson, a fortune 20 company and the largest healthcare company in the world. Mick was responsible for managing the businesses largest customers segment with a revenue line of ~100 billion dollars annually. Mick also held other senior executive positions, at McKesson, including the CIO position. Before joining McKesson, Mick worked in multiple industries as a Management Consultant and has a finance background, earning his BA (Hons) in Accounting from Abertay University in Dundee, Scotland.
Mick is excited to be able combine his extensive executive experience in Healthcare, Sales, Consulting and IT with the innovation being delivered by Ayurway Life Science. Mick says, “ I believe there is enormous opportunity in the growing health and wellness business for integrative clinical modalities” and he “plans to lead the companies to into the next phase of growth in the North America and Europe”.
Mick is enthusiastic surfer and cross-country skier, enjoys cycling and watching soccer at all levels. His family are big animal advocates, and they enjoy nothing better than helping out at the local shelter in Berkeley where his wife volunteers. There are always too many dogs at his house and his family are constantly fostering.
