Vijendra Raj Apsingekar completed his MS and PhD from New Mexico State University in 2007 and 2009 respectively with ML focus. He has over 15+ years of industry experience in ML research, design, and application development mainly focusing on Voice Assistance, Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Speaker Recognition, Speech Enhancement, and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) space. His current research interests include far-field recognition, named-entity recognition in ASR, Speech to Language Understanding, and short-duration enhancements. Vijendra Raj has a passion for helping people with holistic health solutions including meditative practices. He spends his weekends in mentoring students and young professionals in their career growth.
